Paint the edges with a brush and the majority of the gutter and downspout with the roller.

Dont use abrasives to clean it will show through something wicked.
Would the life of all this plastic be prolonged if painted and is there a special paint for the job.
Replace any leaky gaskets and joiners on guttering and fix or replace any faulty furniture on plastic doors and windows.
Oil based paint works very well on plastic and does not require a primer.
I have never yet experienced a one coat paint where only one coat necessary and this paint is no exception.
