Drywall mud comes in dry and premixed products with the premixed mud being more expensive but much easier to apply. Then apply a thin layer of stucco to the wire mesh surface as a base for the final coat. I applied a thin coat to make sure of adhesion then after dry went back over it with a thicker texture coat. You can change the appearance of the stucco wall surface by covering it with a wall of siding.

Before applying stucco over wood you will need to attach a layer of roofing felt to the surface followed by a sheet of wire mesh. Its a great material to work with because its versatile cheap and simple to apply. Allow this base material to harden for one hour and scratch lightly with a plaster rake. Paint the paneling with the super adhering primer just as you would any wall.

How to install siding over stucco walls. This ensures that condensation will not build behind the siding and cause decay in the siding faswall will be unaffected.
